Brutus & Artie

Artie and Brutus are our two babies right now. They are as much a part of the family as me or Greg. We Love them to pieces so I thought they deserved a page of there own so you could get to know them!

This is Brutus when he was a baby. He was the cutest most cuddly ball of fluff you could imagine! Now at almost a hundred pounds, he hasn't changed much!

This was after his first bath!

He grew up into a gangly teenager of a dog but soon filled out and really started showing off his personality!

Recently I decided to shave him myself , It was a LARGE undertaking because in the winter he gain's an extra 50 pounds of hair! Here are a couple of shots from me attempting to do it myself!

But then reason kicked in when my clippers died 95% of the way through and I took him to petsmart and here he is! The finished result!
He really is a gentle giant. He thinks he is a lapdog and loves to "Shake hands". All of the children know and love him in our neighborhood. He loves to sleep, eat, go for hikes and get drool on my every chance he gets!

Artemis or Artie for short came into our family on a sad note. She came in while Greg and I were still trying to come to grips with losing Maggie. But in true Artie Fashion she has won our hearts with her spunky little attitude and her cuddles.

She REALLY loves shoes! I can never expect to find my shoes where I left them because she will have dragged them off for her to enjoy when I'm not looking!

Artie and Daddy! He loves his little Princess!

Nap Time!

She enjoys running around and getting her energy out! I enjoy watching her!

Artie @ Christmas, she was so tired !

Artie Chillin' at camp. We went out riding for New Years and she went along!

She loves to sleep in, eat pepermints with Dad, watch movies with mom and travel. Artie fills our days with sunshine and is such a sweet and fiesty little angel.

*** On a sadder note Maggie passed away on 8/13/11 due to complications from tetanus. However I am leaving her profile up here as a tribute to her. ***

Maggie is the baby of the family at barely a year old. She is the light of my life, she makes me laugh when no one else can! These first couple of pics are of maggie the day after we brought her home, she was so tiny barely 8 pounds!

This next one is of her first swimsuit. I got that and a life jacket for her to wear since our family vacation was going to be at lake powell. I wanted her to be safe in the water! I got alot of grief for it but I didn't care, as long as my baby was safe!

Maggie has gone on some camping trips with us and she likes camping as long as she gets to stay in the trailer with me and greg :) These next couple were up camping!

When we are at home you can find maggie pretty much where ever I am. She is my shadow, unless she is trying to hop up on the counter and steal things ... She is such a character! She and I go to an Assisted Living Facility almost every holiday. We took in presents at christmas, we went in for St. Patty's Day and sometimes we go in just to chat!
And here is her new swimsuit for this season!

Maggie Loves going fo rides in the truck and "helping daddy look for elk!"

Maggie loves to help with the laundry!

Maggie loves to give kisses, nibble fingers, cuddle, play, pester, and generally drive you crazy! But she is the bravest chicken I know! She makes every day a joy!
