Oh My Goodness... It's the middle of January !

Wow! It's amazing to me how fast the time flys when you older! Doesn't it seem like when your little a year is FOREVER! And then you grow up and realize that a year can go by and you don't even feel like you have had a chance to blink.  For me that's how the years keep feeling. They go by so fast. You get caught up with the day to day plans and before long your onto the next month and then you tuen around and half the year has gone by!
Well, one of the resolutions that I made this year was to try and take each moment as them come and enjoy them and try to live in the moment as best I can and not always be looking to the next appt, or the next big thing I have planned. I want to enjoy my lazy days with Artie, I want to hold onto that feeling of her being cuddled up next to me. And hopefully that will put a little more meaning into my year.
My other resolution is to spend more time with old friends. Instead of always saying, "Oh we should get together sometime and chat" then never really doing it I am commiting to holding up that promise and actually doing it. Life is to short to not stop and enjoy the friends you have around you.
I didn't bother making a resolution to lose weight. I figured with my track record of making it every year and then putting myself through hell when I don't reach my goal was at an end. If I lose weight GREAT I won't complain but I'm not about to start killing myself off either... Although if I could find me a good Zumba class I would be happy. I love Zumba :)
I guess my point to all of this is take time to enjoy the little things and try to commit those things to memory so they will stay with you for a lifetime!

Latest and Greatest!

OK I updated the slideshow and included some pictures of Artemis or Artie for short and also some from our latest camping trip! I'm trying to keep the nice and current :) I have some baking days coming up so I am going to try and get some shots of me baking all the fun goodies for all to see as well!  Enjoy the new slideshow!

Oh waiting is the hardest part :)

I guess it's only natural to start to feel a little anxious. The funny thing is it is Greg that is feeling it more than me at the moment. I mean don't get me wrong it's ALWAYS on my mind but I am learning to keep it there but still accomplish the other goals I have set. It has been an everyday occurance for the past week from Greg "So, have we got any calls or emails yet?" And I just look at him and say "No dear we've only been online for X amount of days ." Still it is nice to know that he is really getting excited! We finally picked a wall color and a design that we both like so I am ready to get going on that! I will try to post some pics when we paint. It could be a little bit because it's Hunting season! And we all know that nothing gets done during hunting season ;)

Friends and Family Letters

Ok this week I will be sending out our Friends and Family letters! They will have some pass along cards in there so you can pass them out to anyone expressing interest in placing their baby for adoption. I thank you for your support and for your continued help! Thanks for keeping your ears open and for spreading the word on our behalf! It means the world to us!

We are Offical!

YAY!! We are finally online! In some ways it felt like it took forever but when I really look at it I guess we went through everything pretty quick! Which is good, I'm ready to get going on this next stage in life. I am ready to be a mom and to see Greg as a dad. He will make the best dad because he is just a big kid himself! I guess it's really starting to sink in now that everything is done and it's all up to Heavenly Father (and the postal system to deliver my Friend letters) to get us to where we need to be. I'm so excited!!

Homestudy...

Well the homestudy has come and gone and we passed with flying colors! Hopefully we will be online on the 24th of the month! That would be awesome :) I just have a few finshing touches to make to the blog and then it's done to!!

Changes

As you can tell I am in the process of changing up our blog. I have added a button on the side that if you add it to yur blog when clicked on it should bring you back to this blog :) That is the idea.. I am new to computer talk and hopefully I got it down right since my copy and paste wouldn't work for me :( If there are any probems with this PLEASE let me know. I am trying to generate traffic to my blog so this HAS to work right. Thanks for your help in advance! I will be changing up some of the layout as well so bear with me while this gets overhauled!
